From the Pastor

Today’s Thought 4/9 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you. 1 Pet 1:3,4We do well to read 1 Peter 1:3,4 slowly and meditate upon each thought that is presented to us there. First, we give thanks to God for this revelation of his mercy and love which prompts our praise. Then the thought of new birth. It’s my opinion that the thought of new birth has been watered down by its usage today, so much so that we lose sight of what is really revealed in that simple truth. New birth, in comparison to our first birth. In our first birth we were born in sin and the sorrow that accompanies our natural hostility toward God. The second birth, or new birth, is where we are, by the Spirit’s power, born into holiness and the joy that accompanies a right relationship with God. You might correctly say that in our second birth we have been born into privilege as we have been born into the family of God and as such, heirs of heaven. But, I would add, it is a privilege that is available for everyone. Prayer: Thank you, heavenly Father, for your great mercy and love that you, by the Spirit’s power, have given to me in my new birth. You have made me your child, by faith, and an heir of eternal life in heaven. AMEN ... See MoreSee Less

Our Mission

To fulfill the Great Commission

In His Great Commission, Christ himself instructed us to go out among the world and teach the saving truth exactly as He told us and to baptize in His Triune Name. He has called to all of us, who once lived in the darkness of unbelief, to follow Him and to learn to live anew.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

Mattew 28:19–20
